Beckett is an approximately 2-year-old Siberian Husky with a happy, outgoing personality and all the charm the breed is known for. He is playful, social, intelligent, and enjoys making friends with both people and other dogs. Beckett has a moderate-to-high energy level typical of a young husky. He loves playing, exploring, and especially enjoys water—even if it's a muddy puddle. He would make an excellent companion for an active family looking for a dog to include in everyday adventures. He has done very well with other dogs and was reported by the shelter to be good with children. Based on his personality, we believe he would likely do well in a family setting, though meet-and-greets are encouraged. His compatibility with cats is currently unknown. Beckett handled bathing well and has shown himself to be an adaptable, friendly dog who enjoys interacting with people. As with any husky, Beckett will thrive with an adopter who understands the breed's exercise, enrichment, and containment needs. He should have access to a securely fenced yard if one is available, or an adopter committed to safely exercising him on leash. While he is not a determined escape artist, he should never be allowed to roam freely. Beckett would do best with a breed-savvy adopter or someone who has taken the time to learn about the unique needs of Siberian Huskies.
