Meet Dear Dumpling, the ultimate combination of being independent and deeply affectionate Dumpling and her sibling, Donut (also up for adoption) are two little angels running "at large" in Memphis, they were barely five weeks old when someone found them and brought them to Memphis Animal Services. They were then taken to an emergency vet because they didn't seem to be doing well. There was a third sibling who did not survive, sadly, but these two warriors pulled through and are now safe and sound in one of our southern amazing foster homes. She is the slightly smaller, calmer sibling of the pair, but she has a heart as big as all outdoors! She has a gorgeous double coat with a super-soft light undercoat that makes her an absolute dream to pet. Dumpling is wonderfully easygoing and not needy at all, but she loves to be close when she winds down. Her signature move is gently resting her sweet head right on your foot when she's ready for a nap. She is already learning all things puppy and is even sleeping through the night like a champ! Both are looking for families who understand that raising a puppy takes time, patience, consistency, and lots of love. They will need guidance with housetraining, leash walking, basic manners, socialization, and learning all the things that will help them grow into happy, well-adjusted adult dogs. Silly, sweet, and ready for her forever family--could Dumpling be the missing piece to your home? All known information about the animal is listed above. Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary. Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher.
