❤️ Some call it boring. Sumi calls it SAFE. ❤️ Meet Sumi, a breathtakingly beautiful Husky/Shepherd mix with long legs, a lean frame, and a face that could stop you in your tracks. She is absolutely STUNNING. But behind those beautiful eyes is a little girl who hasn't always known kindness. Sumi and her sister spent most of their lives confined to a kennel. They missed out on so many of the simple things every dog deserves. Freedom, comfort, security, and the feeling of truly belonging somewhere. Because of her past, Sumi is shy. She's learning that the world doesn't have to be scary and that not every hand will hurt her. She doesn't need a home full of excitement and adventure. She needs something much more meaningful. A routine. A predictable day. A soft place to sleep. A family that keeps its promises. Some people might call that boring. Sumi calls it safe. ❤️ Sumi likes kiddos, is housebroken, and is kennel trained. She's not asking for perfection. She's just asking for patience, consistency, and someone willing to let her blossom at her own pace. And perhaps the most heartbreaking part? Despite everything she's been through, Sumi still wants to give someone her whole heart. She just needs someone who won't break it. 🥹❤️ Please help us find this beautiful girl the peaceful, loving forever home she's waited her entire life to know. 🐾 Sumi is waiting at Marion County Animal Control. ❤️ Please share. Her person might be just one share away.Thank you for taking the time to look at our precious "pound puppies" If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly at 730-272-1071.
