Meet Sissy! Sissy is an absolutely adorable 9 year old Terrier mix weighing around 15 pounds, and this sweet little lady is looking for someone to love! Sadly, Sissy found herself needing a new home after her beloved owner passed away. She spent her life as the cherished companion of a senior woman, and it’s clear just how much she enjoyed having someone to call her own. Now we’re hoping to find this precious girl another wonderful family who will give her all the love, comfort, and companionship she deserves. Sissy is truly such a sweet, affectionate, easygoing little girl! She absolutely LOVES attention and is more than happy to give just as much love as she receives. You can tell how much she longs to have that special connection with someone again. She’s the kind of dog who simply wants to be near her people, soaking up affection and enjoying the comfort of having a family. She’s been wonderfully easygoing around the other dogs and cats in her foster home, generally just minding her own business and happily coexisting with everyone. She’s also been doing great with her house manners! She keeps her crate clean, sleeps comfortably in it at nighttime, and has shown good potty habits. Sissy walks nicely on a leash and would love having someone to take her on walks, outings, and little adventures. She’s such a lovely combination of a relaxed companion who also enjoys getting out and exploring! We think Sissy could fit beautifully into many different types of homes. She’s past those busy puppy years, has a wonderful temperament, and doesn’t ask for much beyond love, attention, and companionship. She would be a fantastic little sidekick for someone looking for a loyal, affectionate best friend to share their days with. After losing the person she knew and loved, Sissy deserves the comfort and security of having a family of her own again.
