She arrived at the shelter with her best friend, Elvira, a Pomeranian mix. While the girls do not have to be adopted together, applicants interested in giving both of them a home will receive first priority. Sabrina may be a little shy when meeting new people, but she quickly figures out that humans are pretty wonderful, especially when they come equipped with gentle pets and kind words. Once she warms up, her sweet and affectionate personality shines through. This tiny girl gets along well with other dogs and is okay with cats. Thanks to her small size, she's an easy walking companion, and at 6 years old, she's more interested in enjoying life's simple pleasures than keeping up with a busy schedule. Most days, you'll find her curled up in a cozy bed, happily snoozing the afternoon away. This is not contagious, and dogs can live a wonderful normal life after treatment. You wouldn't know that she has it if we didn't tell you.
