Meet MoMohawk Boy, formerly known as Papa! This 5-year-old Chow Chow has the brainpower of a Shepherd and is bursting with energy. Mo is highly trainable, athletic, and absolutely loves being outdoors. He’s looking for an active person or family for hikes, runs, and all kinds of adventures. Unlike your typical Chow, Mo thrives on exercise and stimulation. He walks well and is easy to harness but is still honing his leash skills. Wildlife definitely catches his eye, and he's quite vocal when he spots a squirrel or deer, thanks to his high prey drive. Mo is selective with dogs and may get along with the right female given proper introductions. He has shown potential with a savvy cat, although careful supervision is important. Crate trained and fully house trained, he is gentle when taking treats and shows no food aggression. Mo has shown incredible growth and has so much to offer to a loving home.
