**WE ARE ALWAYS IN NEED OF FOSTER HOMES** Homeward Bound Dog Rescue is an all volunteer rescue organization and all our dogs and puppies are in foster homes - we are not a shelter and do NOT have a facility where we house our dogs. For adoption information go to: www.homewardbounddogrescue.com. You must fill out an application online as we do NOT accept applications at our clinics. Benni here - I'm 5 years old. young and weigh 16 lbs. I'm a sweet male poodle and Homeward Bound took me in. I need a forever home. I'm very chill and somewhat of a couch potato although I do love a walk very much. I get along with other dogs and people because I'm gentle and demure. Older children are fine but young children might scare me. I'm perfect for active retirees or someone working from home. I don't want to be left alone all day because I love people and activity. I'm getting high marks in my foster home in all areas. I'm not demanding. I just want a safe forever home and to be a companion to a special person. Our adoption clinics are held one Saturday a month at our facility in Schenectady on John Street, located directly behind Boulevard Bowl (Erie Boulevard) from 10 am to 12 pm (directions are on our website). We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. Once your application has been reviewed, you will receive an email invitation to attend an adoption event. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates as we are adopting dogs out in between adoption events. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $395. Dogs over 2 years old are $295. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs.
