Meet Olive Our Sweet Girl! This 10 month old Heeler mix is looking for a fresh start and a family who will show her just how wonderful life can be! She is an absolute sweetheart whose favorite thing is simply being loved. She has so much affection to give and would love a person or family she can bond with and call her own. She was adopted back in June, but unfortunately, things didn’t work out with the resident cats, so she’s back with us looking for her true forever home. She’s currently house trained and is still building her confidence. She’ll need a little help learning to feel comfortable out in the world and some work on her leash skills. She’s also carrying a few extra pounds (about 5!), so she’ll benefit from a healthy routine, exercise, and a little help getting back to her ideal weight of 25–30 pounds. She’s still just a youngster with so much potential. All she needs is someone willing to give her patience, encouragement, love, and the fresh start she deserves. Her ideal home: A loving, patient family Someone to help build her confidence A family willing to work on leash skills A cat free home A forever commitment this time around! She’s had one home fall through. Let’s make sure her next one is forever! Apply to adopt through Herding Dog Rescue of Central Oregon ! $400 adoption fee.
