🐾❤️ MEET SOMBRA — A BEAUTIFUL SOUL DESERVING A SECOND CHANCE! ❤️🐾 Sombra's life hasn't been easy. She was dumped and left to fend for herself. When she came into our care, we discovered that she was heartworm positive, and unfortunately, due to severe trauma to one of her eyes, she had to undergo surgery to have it removed. 😢 Sombra may have lost an eye, but she certainly hasn't lost her spirit! ❤️ Despite everything she has been through, Somber is one of the sweetest, most loving and playful girls! She still has so much love to give. She wants attention, affection, and someone to show her what it feels like to be truly loved. She doesn't care that she's a little different. She doesn't dwell on her past. She's just happy to be here, wagging her tail and enjoying every bit of kindness that comes her way. 🐕💕 Sombra is still on her road to recovery, but she will soon be looking for her FOREVER HOME! 🏡❤️ We know it's going to take a special person to adopt this beautiful girl. Someone who understands German Shepherds, understands her medical needs, and is willing to give her the patience, care, and unconditional love she deserves. Her past may have been filled with pain, but we are determined to make sure her future is filled with happiness, belly rubs, toys, and a family that will NEVER give up on her. At Moore County Friends of Animals, we believe every animal deserves a second chance, and Sombra is living proof of why we do what we do.
