Meet Peanut! You haven't lived until you've felt a soft, floppy puppy paw tap your knee! Peanut is a 3-month German shepherd mix, who is ready to find his forever family. With his easy going and friendly personality, this little guy is a total superstar. Peanut is a massive fan of human affection—if you have an open lap and open arms, he will gladly fill them. His absolute favorite thing in the world is snuggling up right next to you on the couch for a movie night or a long nap. He also absolutely loves little kids and has a heart big enough for everyone. Here is what makes Peanut so special: • Animal Friendly: He loves every single animal he meets! Because of his sweet nature, we believe he would do wonderfully in a home with cats or other dogs. Because he is still such a little guy, slow introductions are a must to make sure he feels safe and secure with new canine friends! • Toy Enthusiast: Peanut loves his dog toys. His absolute favorites are Benebones—anything that feels good on his teething puppy gums will keep him happily occupied for hours. • Potty Training Champion: He has been working incredibly hard on his house training! With a little continued patience and routine, he is going to get the hang of it in no time. • Crate Routine: While he isn't the biggest fan of entering his crate just yet, he is a good boy who settles down after just a few minutes—especially if he has a super comfy blanket to nestle into. If you are looking for a loyal, smart, and incredibly snuggly best friend to watch grow up, Peanut is your guy!
