Meet Alister, the energetic, smart, slightly wild little goofball who's ready to find his forever family! Alister was adopted once, but apparently his former family decided the best way to return him was to toss him over a locked gate. Yep. That happened. We're not sure what Alister did to deserve that, but we're pretty sure he deserves a whole lot better. He's fully vaccinated, neutered, kennel trained, and bursting with energy, brains, and just a touch of mischief. He's mostly potty trained, with the occasional pee accident still in his repertoire (but no poop accidents!). He's a work in progress, but aren't we all? We can't guarantee that Alister is not a touch socially awkward, but everyone needs a laugh in their life. He's got that lovable, slightly clueless charm that makes you smile even when he's doing something that leaves you wondering, "Buddy... what exactly was the plan here?" Alister is looking for a family who appreciates a little chaos, a lot of personality, and a dog who is ready to be someone's very best friend. He's already had one bad experience with a gate. Let's make sure his next family opens the door to forever. Ready for a meet and greet? We require a completed application prior to a meet and greet. We are not able to respond to all inquiries from this site. Our application can be found at www.flyingbrescue.org/adopt. Our application is thorough but there are no right or wrong answers - we just want to make sure you and the pet are the perfect match. Once we receive your application, we will schedule a phone interview. Our adoptions include a 2-week trial period with fully refundable adoption fees during that period. If you are located outside of Texas, we offer transportation services and have happy families as references. We value transparency, so don't be afraid to ask us anything.
