Spots A177551 54 lb. spayed female, approx 3 years old -She walks pretty well on leash with minimal pulling. In the yard, she was happy to run around and show off her zoomies! -This girl loves being close to her people and soaking up attention. The second I sat on the floor, she came right over. Getting her to sit by herself long enough for pictures was another story, though, because apparently personal space isn't her thing and laps are much better! 😂 -She'll take treats here and there and knows "sit," taking them gently, but she doesn't seem overly food motivated. -She showed some curiosity about toys outside when I tossed them, but the crinkly toy and squeaker inside made her a little nervous, and she preferred to slink away. -She's an affectionate girl who would much rather be close to you than pose for pictures! -Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids *Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt *Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. *Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. *There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. *To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home.
