Meet General, who comes to us from the Cabarrus County Animal Shelter as a stray. General is a 1-year-old, 63 lb., stunning German Shepherd. He came to the shelter with an eye injury, in which our vet said it was an old injury, and he recommended removing it. It healed beautifully. General is housetrained, very intelligent, rides well in a car, does well on leash, very loving, takes treats gently, and his foster family is working with him on basic training. He absolutely loves to learn! General is good with other dogs but is still a bit timid and will need slow introductions with them. His foster family adores him and thinks he is a rock star. He is current on his vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. If you would like to meet General, please reach out to us for an application.
