About Lola

Meet Lola, the sweetest girl waiting for her happy ending! Lola's journey began with a heartbreaking note when she was left outside a cat rescue in Brooklyn, wearing a sweatshirt that read, "My name is Lola, please help me." Though her past is uncertain, the lucky family that welcomes this gentle soul will surely find their lives enriched. At about 6 years old and weighing 63 pounds, Lola has quickly become a joy in her foster home. She's settling in well, revealing her wonderful personality day by day. With exemplary house manners, she's house-trained and does wonderfully in her crate. Plus, Lola can be left alone without issue, making her a low-maintenance companion. Lola also enjoys peaceful walks, displaying excellent leash manners and barely reacting to other dogs or people. While she's a quiet girl who seeks comfort in her surroundings, she has so much love to offer to those who will cherish her. This next chapter in her life needs to be brighter than the last, and Lola deserves a loving home where she feels safe and valued. This could be the start of something paw-some.
