Bear is a 2-year-old Doberman with a lot going for him! According to his previous owner, Bear knows sit, stay, down, heel, and come, responds to his name, and will even ring a bell at the door when he needs to go outside. He's also been kept on a bathroom schedule and has done very well with his house manners. Bear has not been food reactive at all and has been very gentle when playing with a small-breed dog. He may bark at strangers or unfamiliar animals, but he has not been aggressive. Once he gets an introduction, Bear is an affectionate, social boy who loves attention. He has also shown that he has a few very important Doberman quirks! Give him the opportunity and he may decide that socks are a tasty snack. He has also managed to destroy every dog bed he's been given, so he's made his preference very clear-a simple blanket is much more his style! Bear tolerates riding in the car, although he's not a fan. He hates the rain but absolutely LOVES the snow, so a New England winter may be right up his alley! Bear is a sweet, social boy with a good foundation of training and plenty of personality. He's ready to find his forever family and continue being the fun-loving, affectionate Doberman that he is.
