🐾 Hi there, I'm Walker Wade! ❤️ I'm a 3-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix, and if there's one thing I'd like you to know about me, it's that sometimes the sweetest hearts are the shyest ones. 🥹💙 When I first meet someone, I might be a little nervous and need some time to warm up. The world can feel like a big, scary place when you're a shy boy like me, but underneath that timid exterior is a sweetheart just waiting for someone to give him a chance. I may not be the first one to run up and ask for attention, but I promise I'm worth taking the time to know. ❤️ I came to the shelter as a stray, so my friends here don't know how I do with other dogs, cats, or children just yet. Because of that, slow introductions and a little patience will be important as I settle into my new life. I'm up to date on my vaccines, and while I'll need to stay at the shelter to be neutered, I'm still available for adoption! My adoption fee is $110 plus tax. The shelter even offers trial adoptions to help make sure I'm going to a home where I can feel safe, loved, and truly thrive. 🏡 All I'm asking for is a chance. A chance to come out of my shell, to learn that I don't have to be afraid, and to finally have someone who will love me through my shy moments and celebrate every little bit of confidence I gain. 💕 Could you be the person who helps me blossom? 📞 Please remember to call and schedule an appointment for a meet-and-greet or adoption. Due to ongoing construction and limited space, appointments are required. I might be a little shy at first, but I have so much sweetness to give. I just need someone willing to see it. Love, Walker Wade. 🐾💙Dogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
