Meet Tucky! Tucky is a beautiful 7-year-old, 19lb Pomsky (Pomeranian/Husky mix) with a stunning blue and black merle coat and a gentle soul. Tucky is a breeder-release girl who is still learning that the world isn't such a scary place. She is quiet and shy when meeting new people, but with patience, kindness, and a little time, she will slowly begin to trust and let her personality shine. She does wonderfully with other dogs and cats, and having another confident, social dog in her forever home is a must. Tucky absolutely loves playing with her foster siblings, and having a canine friend to show her the ropes will help her continue to build confidence. Tucky is potty trained, but she is still learning about leash walking and is currently very frightened of the outside world. She will need a securely fenced yard where she can safely go outside without the pressure of being walked on a leash. Her new family will need to understand that socializing and building her confidence will take time. No rushing this girl-she needs someone willing to let her blossom at her own pace.
