Meet Vine! This gorgeous 1-year-old dark tortoiseshell beauty is a quiet, gentle soul looking for a special place to call her own. Found as a stray, she is learning all about humans and realizing that hands are for love and gentle pets. The bustling shelter environment can be a bit overwhelming for a sensitive girl like Vine, but she is making progress every day and will willingly accept a few sweet chin scratches when she feels safe. Vine is searching for an understanding, patient adopter who recognizes that true trust is built step-by-step. While she is still settling in, we know that once she gets out of the shelter and into a peaceful forever home where she can own her space, her confidence will blossom and her true personality will shine. She would do wonderfully in a home as a solo pet or as a roommate to another cat or a gentle, respectful dog who gives her space. Any children in the home should be ages 12 and up and understand how to read feline body language. Vine just needs someone to give her a chance to show them what a sweet, wonderful companion she can be! Her adoption fee is $225 *To visit our cats, you must make an appointment on-line at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.* Note: While we are happy to respond to your questions about any of our cats, you will still be required to make an on-line appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt if you wish to meet our cats.
