Written: 10/19/2026 Age: 5mths Current Weight: 25 Estimated Adult Weight: 50-70lbs Breed: Dad is a Doberman, Mom is a Mastiff/Hound mix Meet Ciabatta! Ciabatta is such a sweet guy - despite his rough background. He is very friendly, loves to run and play with other dog, and is a huge fan of soft toys and snuggly blankets! He is laid back with spurts of energy, and is quite curious and inquisitive as he explores what indoor life is all about. He is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. His adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of age-appropriate core vaccinations, microchip, and required neuter when age-appropriate. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dog’s age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership. To apply to adopt Ciabatta, visit www.beaglesandbentleys.org/adopt. Spay/Neuter Disclosure: Spay/Neuter will be scheduled when age-appropriate and is covered in the adoption fee. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics. Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption. Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
