Good with Other Pets?Volt showed no response to other dogs while walking at ACC, but we are still learning about his history with other animals. Any introductions with resident pets should be slow and thoughtful to help everyone get comfortable. Good with Kids?Volt would do best in a home without children under 5 because he can get very excited when meeting people. Older children who are comfortable around an energetic dog may be a better fit, with adults helping him practice polite greetings. Things to KnowVolt is a social, playful guy who loves to jump up and say hello. He can pull hard on leash, so he'll benefit from patient practice and positive reinforcement to help him build better walking manners. He also gets enthusiastic during toy play, but he responds well to redirection.
