Odessa is a dainty little hound with the grace of a ballerina, the soul of a comedian, and some rather ambitious ideas about cuddling. I sat down to snuggle her, and somehow she ended up perched on top of my head, happily surveying the scenery. Apparently, the view was better up there. This sweet, silly two-year-old spent three weeks on the lam before she was finally trapped. Nobody claimed her, which is baffling, because she's an absolute delight. She even seems to be housetrained! Odessa approaches life with a wagging tail and a marvelous sense of possibility. She seems to love all humans, other dogs, toys, leisure sniffing expeditions, mischief, and snuggles. She's healthy, affectionate, lighthearted, and just the right amount of ridiculous. Odessa also has the soul of an explorer, and three weeks of independent travel suggest she's quite capable of planning her own adventures. We're looking for someone who will supervise all her outdoor activities and never leave her outside alone. Her wandering days need to be behind her, even if her curiosity never is. After three weeks of running, this lovely girl deserves somewhere to land -- a home where she can be adored, indulge her curiosity, and make somebody laugh every single day. Come meet Odessa. She's ready to turn your world upside down, and she may very well start by climbing on your head. Odessa would love to perch on you at Animal Aid Society, 80 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, VA. Visiting hours are 9am to noon, daily, including weekends & holidays. Interested? Come for a visit any day of the week - 365 days a year between 9am - 12pm. Hope to see you soon! PLEASE NOTE: Animal Aid Society observes a 40 mile adoption radius to facilitate post adoption support and follow ups.
