UPDATE: I moved to Connecticut, so meet me here! Save a Sweet Senior... I’m Bella, a pretty little Miniature Pinscher mix, 12 years old, 8.4 lbs, and I’m looking for love. I was rescued from the San Antonio “kill” shelter just in the nick of time after I had been abandoned. Sadly, this is a common outcome for many sweet, faithful senior dogs, and it's very scary and confusing for us!! These days, I am safe and sound in a foster home, and my foster mom is the nicest lady, but I’m dreaming of a loving family of my own. I am spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, healthy, and in good spirits, with all my vet records packed and ready to go. I am a very loyal and affectionate little lady who bonds deeply, loves people, but is shy at first. I am great with other dogs, and I don’t mind cats living with me. I have a go-with-the-flow attitude, and I’m not too playful, but I love cozy dog beds and tummy rubs! I also enjoy dog treats and am not picky. I already know how to live nicely in a home, only bark to alert you, and I'm housebroken and potty pad trained. I LOVE going for walks, don't mind a car ride, and although I'm not fond of being put in a crate, I'll settle down and then be uber excited when you get home!! At bedtime, I sleep nicely in my dog bed placed next to my foster mom's bed, and I hope it will be the same in my new home.
