About Bagel

Meet Bagel, a sweet approximately 4-year-old female Beagle who found herself outside a Family Dollar in Athens. After being picked up, she’s now enjoying life in her foster home in Columbus. Bagel might come off as a bit reserved initially, but with some time and patience, she starts to open up. She loves snuggling on the couch and going for walks. Good news for families—Bagel is great with kids and other dogs. She was cautious yet curious when meeting a cat at the vet, showing her gentle nature. Currently working on her potty training, she’s already 90% there after just two weeks! Bagel does make some noise in her crate initially, but she settles down calmly. She is treat motivated, especially for meaty treats, and adores praise from her humans. Bagel is also undergoing heartworm treatment but can still be adopted as long as her new family commits to attending her appointments, all covered by PAWS.
