About Norbert
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Meet Norbert, a lovable 6-year-old male Beagle/Pug mix with a wonderful, happy spirit. He absolutely adores lounging on the couch, exploring the yard, and going for walks, making every day an adventure. Norbert is gentle, polite, and friendly with canine companions, though he prefers to chase cats and should not be in a feline household. Due to past experiences, he is seeking a calm home without children. Norbert is both house trained and crate trained, and his playful yet relaxed nature shines through when he's enjoying his favorite Moose stuffed toy or savoring freeze-dried tripe treats. Although he’s impressively quiet for a beagle, Norbert does have a knack for being an escape artist, so he’ll need supervised yard time to keep his exploring within bounds. He thrives on cuddles and is eager to shower his new humans with affection. Eligible for the Trial Adoption Program through Cause for Canines, Norbert’s adopter can get to know this sweet dog before making a lifelong commitment. Approved adopters must be Ohio residents aged 23 or older and able to provide a child-free environment. Ready to give Norbert the loving home he’s been waiting for? This mix enjoys having a secure outdoor space to explore but doesn't require a large yard. They benefit from daily walks and playtime to satisfy their curiosity and energy.
