About Pocahontas

Meet Pocahontas, a delightful puppy who embodies the spirit of her namesake. She and her six siblings arrived at the rescue as tiny newborns, just three days old, after their mother sadly passed away. Thanks to dedicated foster care, they’ve blossomed into charming young pups eager for their forever homes. Pocahontas is not only affectionate but also has a distinct personality filled with sass—she’s a little dramatic at times, but that just adds to her unique charm. Her future family should be prepared for plenty of love and the exuberance that comes with raising a young puppy. With her first round of vaccinations completed, Pocahontas is ready to find her place in the world through our foster-to-adopt program. This allows her to bond with her new family while she finishes her veterinary care. Pocahontas is sociable and gets along well with children, other dogs, and cats. She has already made a lasting impression, and we can't wait to find her the loving family she deserves. If you’re interested in welcoming Pocahontas into your home, reach out to learn more about her and our foster-to-adopt program!
