About Nakoma

Meet Nakoma, our adventurous sweetheart from the Pocahontas litter. Nakoma and her six siblings came into our rescue at just three days old after their mama passed away. Thanks to around-the-clock care from their fosters, these little ones have flourished into delightful puppies ready for their forever homes. Nakoma possesses an independent spirit, always eager to explore her surroundings. Her curiosity turns everyday experiences into exciting adventures, paired with a sweet demeanor that is sure to charm. Her future family will enjoy nurturing her growth through patience, training, and guidance as she learns about the world. Nakoma has received her first round of vaccinations and will soon be part of our foster-to-adopt program. This means she can settle into her new home while completing her veterinary care. She will remain with the rescue until she is spayed, microchipped, and fully vetted, after which her adoption can be finalized.
