Squirrel is a male Anatolian Shepherd puppy located in Delhi, NY. At just 4 months old, he is a baby and not yet altered, but he is vaccinated and house trained. His coat is short and he showcases a striking brindle color. Although he has some special needs, Squirrel is affectionate and eager for a loving home that understands his unique requirements. He will grow into an extra-large dog, so potential adopters should have the space and commitment to care for him as he develops.

About Squirrel

Meet Squirrel! This 4-month-old Anatolian Shepherd puppy is bursting with sweetness. He’s a friendly and loving boy who thrives around other dogs and is eager to find his forever home. We’re looking for a very specific kind of family for him, one where he can be a cherished companion rather than a traditional livestock guardian. Squirrel has some abnormalities with his hind-end movement, but he’s a happy, normal puppy otherwise. His radiographs are clear, and he's making strides in regaining muscle. While it’s uncertain what the future holds, he could continue to improve and lead a fulfilling life. We seek an adopter who can commit to ongoing training and care, particularly someone with large-breed experience. Consider the future needs of Squirrel; will you be prepared to lift or assist him if necessary? He interacts well with other dogs but would thrive alongside gentle friends, as he can be sensitive about his back end. We want the right home for Squirrel—someone who understands the commitment involved and is excited to love him just as he is, quirks and all. He has immense potential and love to give, and we are keen to find someone special who recognizes that. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
