About Bark Wahlberg
Bark Wahlberg is a young male dog who just arrived at the Old Dominion Humane Society and is eager to find his forever home. With striking black and tan colors, he is currently heartworm positive, hence he will need a course of treatment that includes 28 days of doxycycline before receiving heartworm injections. Potential adopters should discuss the treatment costs with their vet beforehand. Despite this challenge, Bark is ready to start a new chapter. You are welcome to meet him soon or even consider fostering to help the staff get to know him better. Bark is excited to learn about life outside the shelter and can't wait to meet you! **Note:** The adoption process requires a martingale collar and non-retractable leash, available for purchase at the shelter.
