About Mysma

**Mysma was treated for Heartworms on 4/29 and 4/30. She must be on low activity for a few weeks and may test positive for Heartworms for up to a year after treatment. Meet Mysma Mysma is an absolute doll baby of a dog who has quickly won over her foster family and those she meets, with her sweet and gentle personality. She's learning how wonderful it is to simply be someone's beloved companion and part of a family. My Foster Mom says I am: Incredibly sweet and affectionate - a total "mush" who loves to be the center of attention and snuggles, thinks she is a lap/chest dog. She also likes to give gentle Hugs. Will need to be with at least one dog or a family pack and will thrive with a sibling who can show me the ropes. Enjoys supervised squeaky toys and chewing on Benebones Can hold her potty well in crate during the workday and continues improving with routine Shows her playful side once she settles in May pace and show some separation anxiety but usually settles (whining or barking before settling) and will need crating. Might not be ideal for apartment life Comfortable with a crate routine and has been good at keeping it clean. Strong on leash and tends to pull; a harness, training and continued practice will help Very food motivated but not aggressive. Hasn't met a goody she won't eat and if you take your eyes off said goody she will claim it as Her's, she will follow her nose to snacks. Will need to be feed separately if multiple dogs in home. Mysma is a loving, gentle soul who has transitioned from being a devoted mama to wanting to be a pampered, cherished family dog. With patience, reassurance, and plenty of cuddles, she will blossom into an incredibly loyal and affectionate companion. Whoever adopts her is getting a truly special girl. ********************************************************************* Schedule a meet-and-greet by completing our Adoption Survey on the Adopt page of our website at https://www.olddominionhumanesociety.org/adoption-survey.
