About Dutchess

Meet Dutchess: From stray to sweetheart. Dutchess has had a challenging journey. She was found wandering alone and brought to BARC Houston, where her life hung in the balance due to a tail wound. Fortunately, her future foster mom, moved by her story, reached out for help—even from a cruise ship! Since then, Dutchess has transformed into an incredibly loving companion. She enjoys playtime but cherishes curling up for snuggles and affection even more. Deeply loyal, she thrives on human companionship. Due to her reactivity towards other dogs, Dutchess will flourish as the only pet in her home. In exchange, she will offer her whole heart and endless devotion. Currently, she is safe at Mustard Seed Farm Sanctuary in Magnolia, TX, and is eagerly awaiting her forever home. Could it be with you? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
