Emery is a sweet little lady ready for her forever home. At around seven years old, she spent much of her life with a breeder before coming to Homeward Bound Dog Rescue. She's had a difficult past regarding health care, leading to the loss of many teeth, but she still enjoys small kibble and soft treats, especially Milo’s chicken meatballs your foster mom has been giving her. Weighing just over six pounds, Emery is a small Yorkshire Terrier with a long, beautiful coat that showcases her tricolor fur. She's a sun-lover and enjoys spending time outdoors, though she'll need a secure yard since she loves grass. While her experience with leashes is minimal, a harness would be the safest option for her tiny frame. Though Emery hasn't been around young kids, she does well with teenagers and enjoys their company. She’s looking for a calm home where she can retire from motherhood and be cherished like the princess she is. If you want a gentle companion to relax with, Emery could be the perfect fit for you.
