Rescued from a cemetery in Compton, California, she found herself in a challenging shelter environment, spending months on medication. After nearly a month in a nurturing foster home, she has begun to relax and shine like the sweetheart she truly is. In true senior shepherd style, Mama Rose has her opinions, particularly in the mornings. She loves to chat about her night! This affectionate girl enjoys the company of everyone she meets and prefers lounging outdoors in the sun. Traveling is no issue for her; she's a champ in her car crate and settles well in a cozy setup at home, as long as it's secure enough to satisfy her escape artist tendencies. Mama Rose has done well with other respectful dogs and shares a special bond with Lincoln, one of her rescue mates.
