About Flash

Meet Flash, a gentle giant who is finally discovering the joys of home life. This 5-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier spent over 500 days in a shelter due to a past tied to animal abuse. Living in a shelter was his first taste of consistent shelter, but when space ran out, he found himself at risk of euthanasia. Thanks to a dedicated foster advocate and a loving foster family in Durango, Colorado, Flash was saved and is now able to learn what it means to be part of a family. Flash may not be the quickest, but his kind and unassuming nature makes him a perfect companion. Whether it's a quiet day or one filled with activity, he flourishes in the company of those he loves. His sweet and humorous personality is blossoming, bringing laughter with his sassy side-eye and goofy antics. Eager to please, Flash has been easy to train and loves showing off his tricks. He’s ready to share his endless affection and joy with a forever family who will appreciate his loyal spirit. After waiting so long, Flash is all set for a loving home to call his own.
