About Snare
Snare is a gentle, sweet 4-month-old puppy who finds comfort close to people and soaks up every bit of affection. He moves through the world calmly and responds especially well to cuddles and attention. Born with nystagmus, Snare's eyes make small involuntary movements, so he's likely very visually impaired or possibly fully blind. He’ll be seeing a specialist soon for a more detailed evaluation. Still, this hasn’t slowed his curiosity—Snare explores eagerly using his nose, ears, and sense of routine, just like so many dogs who adapt to low vision. He’ll thrive in a home that maintains a steady layout and supportive structure, where he can learn and gain confidence through positive reinforcement. Patience and consistency are key to helping him build trust and comfort in new situations. Snare gets along with dogs, cats, and kids, so he can fit into all sorts of family setups with ease. More than anything, he needs adopters who recognize that while he may sense the world in a unique way, he’s just as ready to give unconditional love and deserves a chance to flourish.
