About Pixel
Meet Pixel! Pixel is a lovely Great Pyrenees, possibly mixed with Anatolian Shepherd. Her world changed when her owner passed away, leaving her and four other dogs in need. While three of her companions found new homes, Pixel and one other dog were taken in by rescues after a neighbor tried to care for them but could no longer provide. Now, she’s safe at Dirk's Fund, where she is starting to show her true colors. This sweet girl is estimated to be around 2-3 years old and weighs approximately 75 pounds. Slowly but surely, Pixel is coming out of her shell, revealing just how affectionate she can be. Once you earn her trust, you'll find her curled in your lap, despite her size, ready for snuggles. Pixel can be a bit selective with her dog friends but would thrive with a balanced and playful companion. She's been known to get along well with older children but we are unsure about her interaction with cats. All she needs now is a loving home where her affectionate personality can truly shine. To meet Pixel, please complete an adoption application through Dirk’s Fund. Home checks are part of the process, and all household members must meet her, including current dogs. A minimum 4-foot fence is required for adopters. The adventure starts with you!
