About Dixie

Meet Dixie, your adorable ray of sunshine! At 5 years old, this charming Chihuahua has truly embraced the cozy life. Rescued from California, her past is a bit of a mystery, but her affectionate nature is crystal clear: she has a lot of love to give. Dixie is a sweetheart who relishes curling up in warm sunbeams or snuggling into a comfy lap. With her penchant for cozy spots, she's like a cat in a Chihuahua's body! Her favorite activities include soaking up the sun and being close to her people, always seeking the softest beds and sunny windowsills. Having undergone some medical procedures, including the removal of a mammary mass and dental extractions, Dixie is now ready for a loving home where she can bask in all the comforts life has to offer. It's worth noting she has luxating patellas, which means her kneecaps don't sit quite normally. Thankfully, this doesn't seem to cause her pain at the moment. Her adopters will simply need to sign a medical waiver acknowledging the possibility of future care for her knees. Dixie longs for someone who can appreciate her unique charm and provide a safe, loving environment. If you're seeking a devoted companion who embodies coziness, look no further—Dixie might just be the perfect match. Come meet this little lovebug and see if you can be the lap she dreams of!
