About Callie

Meet Callie! This striking girl joined us when her owner could no longer care for her, arriving very pregnant. She successfully raised five adorable puppies, all of whom have found loving homes, but Callie is still waiting for her chance. It's a tough reality for many dogs that find themselves in shelters after giving birth. Callie may need some time to warm up to you; she feels uncertain when meeting new people. With patience and love, she will reveal her true personality and show what a devoted friend she can be. It's important for her new owner to be committed to ongoing training to help her flourish. She would thrive in a quieter home, ideally with children over 14. While Callie gets along well with most dogs, she prefers a home without cats or small animals. If you think you're the right fit for this wonderful girl, please consider adopting her!
