About Honeycrisp
Honeycrisp is a 7-year-old mixed-breed girl who’s come to the shelter through no fault of her own and is hoping for a new chapter in her golden years. She has more pep than you might expect from a senior—always ready to chase a tennis ball, voice her opinions, or keep an eye on the action. Outgoing and social, Honeycrisp makes herself known right away and doesn’t hesitate to share her feelings, especially when it comes to barking or being vocal. She’s fully housebroken and loves to stay active, but she does wrestle with anxiety at times, which mostly presents itself through her voice—something for an adopter to be mindful about. She previously lived with dogs and could enjoy a canine buddy with either similar energy or a mellow, tolerant attitude, though she isn't a fit for homes with cats. Honeycrisp has a lot of heart, a big personality, and is looking for someone ready to appreciate every bit of it. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
