Meet Lunar! She’s a delightful 4-year-old Standard Poodle mix weighing 18 lbs. Lunar is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to find her forever home. This lovable girl came to Illinois from Mississippi and settled in quickly with her foster family. At first, she took a little time to acclimate but soon became confident and friendly with her foster home’s resident dogs, even playfully asserting herself with pups much larger than her. Lunar thrives in backyard activities, enjoying races and wrestles alongside her furry friends. She’s also cat-friendly and has tested well with the resident cat. When it comes to children, Lunar previously lived with kids and is now happily cohabiting with a 12-year-old. She’s enjoyed some cozy moments with a 9-year-old, although her experience with younger kids is limited. Lunar is house trained and knows the routine at home. She happily goes into her crate when the family leaves and sleeps peacefully through the night. Although she enjoys her crate, Lunar would love to snuggle up in bed with you. Her energy level is low to medium; she loves playful interactions but also relishes cuddle time.
