Along with his buddy Michael Phelps, these adorable 10-pound pups were rescued from a troubling situation and are now learning that kindness exists. Lima is a quieter soul who edges toward shyness but possesses a heart of gold. He enjoys the company of other dogs and thrives in calm spaces, needing patience as he builds his confidence. While Lima can be adopted separately, having another friendly dog in the home will help smooth his transition. A fully fenced yard is essential for him, as he may become flighty when scared. Homes with older, considerate children are ideal for him, as younger kids may be overwhelming. Both boys have been neutered, fully vaccinated, and are microchipped, all set for their new lives.
