Meet Autumn! This sweet 4-year-old yellow Lab mix is around 50 lbs. She's the epitome of easy-going, content to hang out on the couch or curl up beside you in bed. Autumn came to the shelter due to circumstances beyond her control and initially struggled with the noise and chaos of shelter life, but she quickly adapted in a calmer environment. Autumn is a tripod; her front right leg was amputated before she joined us, yet she navigates life effortlessly, enjoying outdoor adventures and being a perfect loose leash walker. Her excitement during mealtime, especially for treats like cheese and ham, is infectious. When she's having fun with toys or chasing balls, she will scamper back to the couch to rest. Watching her learn the joys of being a dog is simply adorable. Autumn is incredibly dog friendly, showing calm and neutrality around her fellow canines. She has loved her foster siblings since their first meeting, although she has yet to meet cats or children. Fully potty trained, she has never had an accident in the house. While she will sleep in her kennel at night, she prefers to roam freely when you’re not home. Autumn would thrive in a calm home, whether with a dog sibling or as the sole recipient of couch cuddles.
