Izzy is a medium-sized male Domestic Long Hair. He's an adult cat with a long coat and beautiful buff, tan, and fawn coloring. He is house trained and altered, and his vaccinations are up to date. Given his special needs, he thrives in a calm home environment. Currently residing in Roslyn, WA, Izzy is looking for a patient adopter who understands his boundaries.

About Izzy

Meet Izzy. This handsome gentleman is a 6-year-old cat seeking a very special home. Due to being partially blind and deaf, Izzy is best suited for an indoor-only life, thriving in a quiet household with a calm environment. Izzy can be a bit unpredictable, and his sensory limitations mean he startles easily. Approaching him slowly is crucial, as it helps him feel secure. Though he enjoys being pet, he prefers it on his own terms; when he's had enough, he may swipe or bite. With patient handling and plenty of space, he has made remarkable progress in our care. Izzy was found outdoors in Cle Elum after going missing from his previous home. We’re not sure how he ended up so far, but he’s ready for a place to call his own after a few months in the shelter. An ideal adopter would be experienced, patient, and living in a quiet, adult-only environment. If you believe you're the right match for Izzy, he would love to meet you. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
