About Sissy

Sissy—short for Big Sis—is a one-year-old, spayed black longhair cat based in Puyallup, WA. She’s curious and playful, thriving around people she knows. Sissy is famously a lapcat, happy to curl up and purr in her foster’s lap whenever she gets the chance. She chases after jingle balls, toy mice, and crinkle tunnels, making nearly anything tap-worthy into her new favorite toy. With other cats, Sissy can be feisty; she wants to make friends and play, but will need a gradual introduction, especially in homes with other young, playful cats. In her foster home, she read the room well—giving space to cats who needed it, and engaging with those who reciprocated. Dogs seem to make Sissy uneasy, so a home without dogs suits her best. Young children may be too much for her, but respectful teens could be a great match. Sissy is happiest with fellow playful cats, wrestling and chasing, but cuddling is never out of the question. Her adoption fee is $200, and she’s fully vetted, spayed, and vaccinated. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
