About Malloy
Malloy is a charming little gentleman searching for a forever home. This lively chiweenie, a mix of dachshund and chihuahua, weighs in at 17 pounds and is around nine years old. While this might make you think of a senior dog, donβt let his age fool you; Malloy has plenty of energy, eagerly chasing after toys and showcasing a playful spirit. His striking coat has a unique dapple/merle pattern, complemented by a distinctive blue eye that hints at his dapple/red merle ancestry. He gets along well with other dogs, although heβs not particularly interested in cats. Malloy has a friendly demeanor and seems to have known love in the past. Found as a stray, he faced adversity after being attacked by resident dogs and left outdoors on a chain. Thankfully, he was taken in, received veterinary care, and even had a dental cleaning to ensure his health is tip-top. Now, all he needs is a loving home with someone who appreciates his affectionate nature. To meet Malloy, fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. Visit him at our Saturday adoption event from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at PetSmart Eastgate. All our fully vetted dogs enjoy a one-week trial period in their new home to make sure itβs the right fit. Adopters must have all resident pets spayed or neutered and updated on vaccinations. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
