About Freya
Meet Freya! Freya is a lovely 10-month-old Greyhound/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, embodying sweetness in both her expressions and nature. She was rescued from the streets of South Texas, where she was found emaciated and in need of care. Thankfully, a kind-hearted foster stepped in, allowing Freya to transition to safety and give her a shot at a brighter future. Her personality shines through as she is gentle, laid-back, and easygoing. Freya’s calm demeanor makes her an excellent prospective family companion. Currently fostering in a home with multiple dogs, she’s adapted wonderfully and we believe she could also do well with cats, although we haven’t formally tested her with them. Freya is also likely to thrive in a family setting, as she has shown a great disposition around children. Having overcome so much at such a young age, Freya is ready to experience the love and comfort of a permanent home. She's eager to exchange her life on the streets for a warm bed and a family to call her own. Freya is currently located in Brownsville, TX, but transport options are available to reach her new forever home. Your chance to make a difference with Freya starts here!
