Meet River, a truly remarkable boy with a heart as vast and captivating as the natural wonder he's named after. This 1-year-old Plott Hound/Lab mix has a story of resilience and a bright future ahead. River was born outdoors and swept away by a river, but he overcame that with strength and determination. Now safe and thriving, he is ready to share his unwavering loyalty and love with a forever family. This clever boy is curious and playful, always eager to explore and learn. He adores people, especially children, and gets along swimmingly with his fellow canines, but no cats please! River's affinity for the water is no secret, and he takes great pleasure in splashing and soaking up the sun. His gentle and affectionate nature makes him the ideal companion for anyone seeking a devoted friend. River is also quite the comedian, adding a touch of humor and joy to everyday life. He is good-natured and patient, eager to learn and adapt to indoor life with guidance and love. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and more than ready to be someone's special buddy. With his unique story and loving spirit, River is sure to bring laughter, curiosity, and devotion to his new family. He is a young dog with an old soul, full of potential and a lifetime of adventures ahead. Could you be the one to continue River's journey and give him the loving home he deserves?
