About Loki

Loki is a special case, taking time to warm up to new people. While he has yet to fully bond with the men in the rescue, he enjoys accepting treats from them. Initially hesitant and shut down, Loki has shown remarkable progress, now cherishing the company of a few staff members and relishing lap time. He shares his space with Ruth, a small Yorkie, and exhibits some resource guarding. Although he knows tricks and has a charming demeanor once he trusts you, he can be grumpy at times. Corrections take him by surprise but he quickly forgives. Coming in at nine pounds, he loves to jump onto laps but may not do well in busy households or around small children. Though he voices his opinions, he is generally adaptable and does his best to go potty outside. This loving chihuahua needs a patient and understanding home.
