About Brooks

Meet Brooks, a 1.5-year-old Lab mix who is eagerly looking for his forever home. Currently, Brooks is getting settled down south but will make his way to New England soon, all without extra transport fees. It’s easy to adopt long-distance; about 90% of our dogs find homes this way! Brooks was rescued as a stray in Mississippi and weighs around 50 lbs. According to his foster, he is a playful and curious boy who might be a little shy initially. Once you give him a belly rub, he transforms into the ultimate snuggle buddy, ready for fun and laughter with his goofy antics. He adores being around kids, and he also gets along well with other dogs and cats. Remember, he will need some ongoing training since he's still young. All our dogs, including Brooks, are spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. If you want a companion that will turn your everyday life into an adventure filled with love, Brooks could be your guy. To adopt Brooks, please fill out an application through the Great Dog Rescue New England. Don’t wait too long; he’s waiting for his special someone!
