About Ryder
Meet Ryder. At almost 2 years old, Ryder is a Cattle Dog mix with a spirited personality and an abundance of energy. His early days at H.A.L.O. saw him a bit rough around the edges, underweight and needing some TLC. Now, he’s thriving, gaining weight and sporting a coat that’s coming back beautifully. Ryder is affectionate and playful, enjoying walks and toys while thriving in the company of people. He is house trained, crate trained, and knows some tricks. He has shown a friendly demeanor with both cats and dogs, indicating he could fit well into a family with children, too! This young pup does need guidance, as he’s still learning his manners. He sometimes mistakes furniture and dog beds for chew toys and can’t resist tearing into fluffy toys to find the squeaker. Ryder would thrive with a family keen on keeping his clever Cattle Dog mind engaged and helping him burn off energy. Loud noises can catch him off guard, so a gentle approach is ideal during grooming sessions. Ryder doesn’t seek perfection; he simply wants a loving home that recognizes his potential and appreciates his goofy spirit. Will you be the one to help him write his happy ending?
