About Opossum

Meet Opossum, a resilient young cat with a stunning gray coat and a heart full of love. Estimated to be between 1-2 years old, she was found as a stray with a serious tail injury. After receiving medical attention that included a partial tail amputation, she has healed beautifully. Her unique appearance, complete with a shorter tail, gives her a special charm that hasn't slowed her down one bit. Opossum is playful, affectionate, and enjoys cuddling, though she prefers to do so on her own terms. Not yet comfortable with being picked up, she’s a sweet and calm companion who enjoys watching TV, sitting by the window, and exploring her surroundings. Sometimes shy, she communicates when she’s had enough petting, typical of many cats. Food is a motivation for her, especially human food! Meals can be a bit of a tussle as she’s quite the curious eater. Opossum is searching for a patient and loving family who can help her flourish and feel secure. In return, she'll be an affectionate companion ready to share love in her new forever home. If you appreciate a survivor and can offer a warm space for this special girl, Opossum might just be the perfect match for you. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
